Asked whether his style of administration resembled Tun Razak's, Abdullah acknowledged that there was some semblance because both of them were quite close when they were on the National Operations Council (Mageran).
"There may be some semblance because, as the secretary of the National Operations Council, I had a close relationship with him. Often, when writing the minutes, I had to see him, to find out how to record a decision taken. There were many such discussions, and in depth," he said.

Tun Musa Hitam...plz dont demonise what Dr.Tun Dr. Mahathir done for this country!
We still remember your statement about IDR project..that to throw away NEP from IDR! Where is your true Malay spirit...dont even think that U represent the Johorian since there are many Johorians whom disagree with IDR project which involve Singapore aka Zionis!

That statement came about in respond to persoalan yang ditimbulkan oleh wakil Pemuda PJ Utara dan juga statement sokongan yg ditambah oleh Cik Nora Maskon. Kedua dua nya menyentuh mengenai sistem persekolahan dan dasar pelajaran negara dimana sistem sekolah kebangsaan mengikut etnik telah membuka jurang polarisasi kaum.
Musa Hitam tak elaborate banyak tapi cuma menyatakan bahawa kajian menyeluruh keatas sistem termasuklah dasar pembelajaran perlu dilakukan segera bagi menangani persoalan yang ditimbulkan. Beliau telah pun melakukan kajian semasa beliau memegang jawatan Menteri Pelajaran dahulu.. tapi Tun Tun Dr. Mahathir tak mau ikut apa yang beliau sarankan...

Razak’s deeds honoured
KUALA LUMPUR: Tun Abdul Razak was not only a big influence on his son Datuk Seri Najib Razak who followed his footsteps into politics, but the nation’s second prime minister was also a mentor to Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.
Najib said Abdullah told him this after appointing him Deputy Prime Minister: “You are his biological son, but I'm his political son.”
“That is how important Tun is to both of us, in leading the country,” he said at the launch of the Tun Razak Legacy to National Development seminar organised by Akademi Pemuda and the Tun Razak Foundation Alumni yesterday.
In a video clip on Tun Razak, shown at the event, Abdullah recalled his close relationship with the late leader and highlighted his contributions to the nation.
The Prime Minister, who served as a principal assistant secretary of the National Operations Council (Mageran) under Tun Razak in 1969, described the leader as a man with a mission and vision, adding that many of the country's key policies such as social restructuring, rural development and poverty eradication were inspired by him.
“After Mageran was abolished, I was made director at the Culture, Youth and Sports Ministry. I remember clearly that he said the country had a young population with about half, or 60%, of them (youth).
“He said we must ensure employment for them and give them skills. He was far-sighted, regarding the youth as the country’s assets. He was passionate about setting and achieving his goals,” said Abdullah.
Najib said his father's commitment and dedication motivated him to serve the people.
He said his father rose from humble beginnings and as a young boy used to walk barefooted to school.
Najib said the hard life shaped him to excel in his studies, adding that he completed reading law at Lincoln’s Inn in Britain in 18 months.
Najib said his father motivated his five children to excel in school by rewarding them if they scored first, second or third placing in their exams.
“He had the common touch. He spent a lot of time with the people, meeting everyone if he could, even for a few moments,” he said.
The hardworking leader had in 1962 travelled 68,800km through land, air and sea, sometimes even riding bicycles and on foot, to visit 45 state operations rooms and 118 district operations rooms in the country.
Najib said his father held various key posts in the Cabinet but he was not “power crazy”.
“He held absolute power as director of Mageran (formed after the May 13 racial riots) but he felt it was a heavy burden. Hence, he formed the National Consultative Council in 1970.
“He did not hold on to the Mageran post but returned power to the people and Parliament in 1974 as he believed in democracy and did not want to be a dictator,” he said.
Najib described his father as a simple man who did not have expensive hobbies but loved golf, a passion that he shared.
He said his father was a “glocal” (global and local) leader, ahead of his time, adding that he had thought of the formation of Asean as early as in 1966.
“He could have taken over power from Tunku earlier as pressured to by certain parties, but he did not because he was loyal. He said that it was not the Malay way and that if you are number two you should play the role of the number two,” he said.
Najib was overcome by emotion while speaking about the passing of his father, who died at 54 on Jan 14, 1976.
He said his father had known about his leukaemia since 1969, but had kept it a secret from his wife and his children until his death.
“He was apparently racing against time, not letting health be an obstacle, discarding his self-interest and sacrificing for the sake of religion, race and country,” said Najib.
Reminiscing on Razak
UMNO Youth chief Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein:
“Youths of today should look at him as an ideal to emulate. He was spirited, committed, wise, knowledgeable, a far-sighted, strategic thinking, honest and loyal leader.
“He is one of the best examples of someone who left a wealth of exemplary leadership, which the people can appreciate and emulate.”
UMNO Youth deputy chief Khairy Jamaluddin:
“I was born in Kuwait (where his father was serving as ambassador) and as fate had it, the plane that was flying Tun Razak’s remains made a stop there, thus enabling my father to pay his last respect.
“To my father, he was a big name. The first time I heard his name was when my mother told me how the only time she saw him really shedding tears was when he received the news of Tun Razak’s death.”
Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah:
“The New Economic Policy formulated under Tun Razak was aimed at increasing economic growth so that the cake will be bigger and Malays can have more share, not by exponentially reducing the shares of other races. He was a Malay nationalist but neither fanatical nor racist, a moderate man who thought in the interest and unity of all races, although he was often misunderstood as too pro-Malay.”
Former deputy prime minister Tun Musa Hitam:
“He practiced a consultative system in which each month he would consult groups representing various levels of society to know about the people's demands and problems, before he drew up policies and strategies. He was a true democrat who always appreciated views from everyone.”

KJ lahir tahun 1976. Maknanya pada masa tu dia belum lahir lagi (death of Tun Razak only few weeks into 1976).
Mungkin dia nak sampaikan poin yg dia ni Bumiputera Kuwait.

Musa cemburu akan kejayaan Tun manakala Dollah pula dgn bantuan anak menatu yg sekarang bermaharajalela akan cuba menghapuskan segala kejayaan Tun dlm membangunkan negara..semua sedang berlaku didepan mata kita...pemimpin2 tertinggi UMNO yg ada sekarang ni sudah di bagi makan nasi kangkang sehingga mereka menjadi bodoh, ikut sja apa yg Dollah kata buat...
akan mampos melayu sedikit hari lagi...
