Estimated gross loss shud b rm659,564.8 (that is EXACTLY 10.2 million shares Bought/Sold at EXACTLY the stated price including brokerages * i give him 0.3% which is lowest fees for transactions bigger than 100k worth of shares, ahem.. unless someone has VVIP treatment)
how come the loss he states out is 200k? doesnt make sense,...unless he sell to sum1 higher than the stated price or he is very very bad at mathematics...
Incredibly, PAS sec-gen Kamarudin Jaffar also put Khairy's damage at RM612,000.
Parliamentary Opposition Leader Lim Kit Siang also commented on the matter, looking at different but equally pertinent angles. He said Khairy's cashing out from ECM-Libra Avenue "only sparked more queries, including integrity issues".

Kami juga mempersoalkan dakwaan Khairy yang mengatakan beliau kerugian sebanyak RM200 ribu akibat penjualan 10.2 juta saham pegangannya pada kadar RM0.65 sen seunit.
Beliau mendakwa mendapat pinjaman untuk membeli saham tersebut pada harga RM0.71 sen seunit pada tahun lepas. Ini bermakna Khairy Jamaluddin telah kerugian sebanyak RM0.06 sen bagi seunit saham.
Jika pegangan saham sebanyak 10.2 juta didarab dengan RM0.06 sen maka Khairy akan kerugian sebanyak RM612 ribu.
Jika benar dakwaan beliau memperolehi saham secara pinjaman, maka, jika diandaikan kadar faedah pinjaman tersebut sebagai 9 % mengikut kadar semasa, maka beliau terpaksa membayar faedah pinjaman sebanyak RM488 ribu.
Kami hairan, sepatutnya Khairy kerugian hampir RM1.1 juta bukan RM200 ribu sebagaimana yang didakwanya. Kami juga terperanjat bagaimana graduan kelulusan Oxford University membuat kiraan beliau.
Bagaimanapun PAS secara konsisten memandang serius penglibatan menantu Perdana Menteri yang juga Menteri Kewangan I dan mempersoalkan bagaimana beliau memperolehi syarikat Avenue Capital Resources Berhad milik kerajaan.
Pada kami amalan sebegini harus dihentikan kerana ianya membawa kepada amalan kronisme dan rasuah yang bertentangan dengan dasar yang diperjuangkan oleh Perdana Menteri sendiri.

1. Issue : was it illegal for a senior management founding members to offer a senior management loan to a senior executive of the public company to buy shares of the same company, even if it was a minority stake? If not, why not? Were other senior executives of that company similarly offered senior management loan to take up minority stakes in that company? If yes, please publish the names of these new stakeholders.
2. Issue : why didn't KJ & KMH & DC sell their stakes to the other senior executives of their company who should have taken the senior management loan to pay for these shares at market rates or, at least, at the original purchase prices, thus alleviating any loss to KJ? If KJ can take the loan earlier, then the other senior executives of the company should be allowed to make full use of the similar loan scheme to take up those shares, and more. Tidak ada kah senior executive Melayu dalam ECM-Libra yang boleh beli shares KJ dan KMH dengan senior management loan yang sedia ada?
3. Issue : why is KJ taking the racial card in this sale? Is this the type of potential leader Malaysia want to have? After living most of his life overeas, suddenly he plays the Malay hero untuk bangsa dan agama for economic and political gain. Memang patut di benci perbuatan saperti ini. Kejam dan keji sekali gus!! Just to satisfy the simple jingoistic UMNO members, especially the UMNO Youth people...
4. Issue : why is his loss only RM200K when it should be at least RM700K as his original purchase was 0.71 sen and the amount of loan taken to buy the shares was said to be RM9.2 milion, and he is said to sell away his shares to a Bumi company at 0.65 sen, ie, a loss of .06 sen per share? Simple arithmetics wold show you the actual losses based on those numbers. Unless 1) he did not sell all his shares, 2) he has some subsidy from somewhere, 3) he still continues to buat tipu helah kepada rakyat!!
5. Issue : While KJ's stated loss is RM200K, how much has the nation lost in terms of opportunities lost due to retreating foregin investments, non-expansion of exiting local investments, people's reducing spending power due to increases in prices of basic necessities, loss of supply of some basic goods like sugar , etc etc.

Dear Khairy.
First mistake you make by declaring you bought 3%shares in ECM libra.Actually you dont need to unless you own more than 5%.Why you want to show off.By doing this you bring more liability to ECM libra than Asset.
With all the contarvesial you decide to sell the share to Tan Sri Azman Co.Tan Sri Azman is a very closefriend of ECM main shareholder Mr Lim Tian Onn.Tan sri Azman also a trustee for ECM Faundation.
One wander why dont you accept the highest offer and not suffer loss of $200.000.This shares eventually will worth a lot of money.You are not stupid.Many people belief you and Kalimullah only park your shares with Azman.
If you want people to belief you and Kalimullah have no more say in ECM LIBRA,You and Kali should resign from ECM and let the new management appointed by MOF to run the co.Can you do it.You credibility is at stake.
